About
Susan Carroll’s practice focuses on family law, including dissolutions, prenuptial agreements, property settlements, child custody, paternity, adoptions, and child support. She assists clients by acting as their representative in negotiations or at court if needed, as a collaborative attorney in cases where the parties have agreed not to rely on the courts, or as mediator.
Susan Carroll was educated at Purdue University, where she triple-majored in English Literature, Professional Writing, and Creative Writing. She worked in the arts and for independent bookstores until transitioning into the computer industry where she worked on banking, securities trading, and utility/industry grid software. This mixed background in arts and technology led Susan to law school where she pursued family law studies as an avenue to use her analytic skills to help people.
On a personal note...
In her free time, Susan spends time with family and pony-sized dogs. She led the University Book Store- Bellevue reading group for ten years and still can’t be found without a book on her. She rides motorcycles, sails sailboats, hikes, and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, sometimes even with success.
