Profile
Susan
Carroll’s practice focuses on where the personal meets the
legal. Her primary area of practice is in family law, including
dissolutions, child custody, paternity, prenuptial agreements, and
property settlements. She drafts wills, end-of-life documents, and
estate planning for small- and medium-sized estates, with a special
focus on handling issues with minor children.
Susan Carroll was educated at Purdue University,
where she triple-majored in English Literature, Professional Writing,
and Creative Writing. She worked in the arts and for independent
bookstores until transitioning into the computer industry where
she worked on banking, securities trading, and utility/industry
grid software. This mixed background in arts and technology led
Susan to law school where she pursued family law studies as an avenue
to use her analytic skills to help people.
On a personal note...
In her free time, Susan spends time with her husband, daughter,
and pony-sized dog. She led the University Book Store- Bellevue
reading group for ten years and still can’t be found without
a book tucked in her briefcase. She rides motorcycles, sails small-
and mid-sized sailboats, and enjoys experimenting in the kitchen,
sometimes even with success. |
