Family Law
Family law is a broad term that includes many of the most fearful
and life-altering changes that may happen to you during your life.
Divorce and child custody issues can bring out the most basic and
sometimes instinctive fears in both parents. We can guide you through
the process. We can also help with prenuptial planning, post-dissolution
modifications, and parentage/paternity issues.
Collaborative Law
Collaborative Law takes the reasonable approach to these
major life changes. Through interest-based negotiation, outside
of the threat of court action, we can work toward win-win solutions.
This approach also allows all the participants to get the necessary
financial, personal, and legal counseling and coaching needed to
address the myriad of issues involved in divorce or parenting.
Estate Planning
5% of my practice is estate planning and drafting wills and other
end of life documents. These are a crucial step at the end of any
dissolution, but are important for any individual to have especially
if you have minor children. We can draft the appropriate trusts
and guardianships so that your children are cared for after your
death, both financially and emotionally. |
